Pre-Trip Planning

So, I am a dork. We all know this, and I think we have all moved on from that now. So today after class, I got to thinking that it's going to be Thanksgiving before I even know it. For those of you who do not know, I am going up to Breckenridge, CO with my family for Thanksgiving. So, since it is a few weeks off, I thought I need to start my pre-trip planning which is basicly figuring out my route, millage, time, and where I am going to get gas.

So, since I had some free time at work today, I figured I would sit down and do this. All of the price of gas is based on getting 25 MPG. Also, all of the min travel times are based on 80 MPH, exepct for the last leg of the trip, which was based on 70 MPH.

Why will it cost so much in Santa Fe?
Ok, on the way back, I understand because you'll have last gassed (you like that use of the term) in Pueblo... but on the way out? Are you planning on hitting Santa Fe from Albuquerque with a nearly empty tank?

Just curious...

Well, my plan is I will be driving dads car for a few days before I leave, so I plan to get gas on my way out in Santa Fe. So, bascily I am just planning for the worst! LOL.
