I really am starting to think this whole eating healthy thing is just not all it's cracked up to be. lol. Ok not really, but you know how hard it is to go out to eat somewhere, and really all they have for a choice drink is water, tea, or lemonade. That is what is starting to piss me off in terms of doing all of this. Almost no where can I have juice with dinner, or anything like that. So, I am a little on edge about all of that.
Work is good, and I really have no complaints there. I am still working on getting the backup server finished, but after a few hardware setbacks, its finaly moving forward again. Yesterday, Dennis (my boss), had me track something down, that required me head down to the county planning office. Well, turns out they could not help me, so I had to drive half way to Los Lunas to go to the county public works building, and I found the info that I needed.
Then last night, was my sisters last night in town, and we did dinner at a really great place that do not get to all that often, so that was lots of fun. Then, I came home, stayed up until midnight talking to people online and all that fun stuff.
School is good. I am enjoying my classes so far, so that is good. I have prof's who make lecture fun and crack jokes and such. Like in my CRP (Community & Regional Planning) class yesterday, someone’s phone went off in the middle of class, so the prof stops, and has this little smirk on her face. Then she starts to speak to the student who’s phone went off:
Prof: "Ok, you know what you have to do now, right?"
Prof: "You have to tell us your porno name."
Student: Confused look on his face
Prof: "It's something like your cat's name (Or any pet), and the street you grew up on".
At this point we all start laughing and falling out of our chairs, cus we knew it would be funny, but not that funny.
Prof: "I think I am going to have to call you that from now on" as she laughs
Student: "I will put it on my final essay"
So, that is the type of teachers I have this semester, so I am happy. I look forward to class, which is a good thing, cus it means I will go to class.
Well, I think I have said what I want to say for now,
