As such, I have made some changes in my life. Trying to eat better & less is my goal for now. Too lazy to go the exercise route right now. Plus there is little time for that between school & work.
So I figure the route of eating less & better food should be a good way to loose some weight because for the last 6 or so years, I have been stable around 180 to 185 pounds and eating anything I want & when I want.
I must say that if the last two or so weeks has taught me anything, its that sticking to my plan is much easier said then done.
So to help me in my quest of loosing weight, a week ago Saturday I picked up a digital scale with memory. Also on my mobile phone / PDA I am keeping a weekly weigh in log.
I plan to publicly tweet & blog what my weight is each week and the net change from the previous week. I hope by doing this, I can keep myself honest and focused. I am not going to go as far as keeping a daily food journal for man reasons, number one of which is that I am too lazy.
So here are the numbers for this week.
Last week: 179 pounds.
This week: 176.6 pounds.
I lost 2.4 pounds this week.
All in all I am kinda happy with these numbers. It would have been more, but from Thursday to Today I have totally not stuck to my plan & ate things that I know I should have not eaten (Like the Mac & Cheese at Chama River).
But that is life. So, starting tomorrow (Sunday), I need to pick myself back up & continue on with my plan. I would like to average 4 to 5 pounds of weight loss per week, but really I do not even know if that is possible. Only time will tell.
