New Mexico Drivers....

Ok, short post.

I have three ways to improve New Mexico Drivers:

1. Teach them how to read the damn signs, hell teach them how to read first!
2. Get the color blind ones off the road. I swear, by the way New Mexico drivers blow read lights, you would think we are all color blind.
3. Teach them the difference between their gas petal and break petal, and when to use each.

That is it. That’s my post for tonight.

Cus, I def getting sick, and me want sleep.

Since I didn't grow up here, I've always wondered if New Mexico requires people to go through some kind of Drivers' Education courses? Because it sure doesn't seem like it. What annoys me is that they (the state) harrassess every new citizen seeking a license into taking a required DWI awareness class. And while I see the importance of that, I think the dollars could be better spent teaching, or even re-teaching people in this state how to drive better. I've been a lot of places in my young life, and people in this state drive worse than anywhere I've ever been to. Of course, I haven't been to Portugal yet.

Sorry to hear that you're definitely getting sick. I keep thinking the same thing, but it's just my allergies making me feel like I want to die. Hope you get to feeling better soon -- maybe you'll get some good rest this weekend and feel all better by Monday. Or sooner.

Well, anyone under the age of 18, who wants to get a drivers license, is required to goto drivers ed. The problem is that, not all drivers ed classes are created equal. Take for example the one tought in school. They are given by a teach who wants extra money, and has no real motivation to really teach the students anything major. Me, on the other hand, I went to a privite drivers ed class, and got really good instruction. But, there are also privite drivers ed classes that are bad too, and the state has tried to crack down on them. So, ya, this state sucks when it comes to the driving department. I what I hate the most, is back when the freeway speeds were 55 intown, eveyone went 80 or 85 mph. But now that they have raised the speedlimit in town to 65, eveyone seems to drive about 10 under the speedlimit. Well, enuff ranting from me.
