As of late, it seems that I have been on a music buying rampage. It might be due to the fact that I have not bought any new music in a long long time. It might be that I know come January when I head back to school full time, I know that I will be very broke again. It might also be that until very recently there has not been much that has really sparked my fancy as something that I've wanted to buy.

Well, that has all changed and in the last week I have bought 6 new albums:
  • Duran Duran - Red Carpet Massacre

  • Collective Soul - Afterwords

  • Radiohead - In Rainbows

  • Kanye West - Graduation

  • Matchbox Twenty - In Exile On Mainstream

  • kinderen voor kinderen - kinderen voor kinderen 2005
In addition to the 6 albums I bought, I also finally got around to using the iTunes gift card that my sister got me for my birthday and bought 18 other individual songs that I have been wanting for a while. Some of the songs are really new and some are not:
  • James Blunt - 1973

  • Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man

  • Stereo MC's - Connected

  • Pat Monahan - Her Eyes

  • Santana feat. Chad Kroger - Into the Night

  • Finger Eleven - Paralyzer

  • Herbie Hancock feat. John Mayer - Stitched up

  • Mat Kearney - Undeniable

  • Spice Girls - Wannabe

  • Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure

  • Rocco DeLuca & The Burden - Colorful

  • Moby - Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad

  • KT Tunstall - Hold On

  • My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade

  • Gwen Stefani - 4 In The Morning

  • Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats

  • Nelly Furtado - Say It Right

  • Sting - If I ever Loose My Faith In You
Out of all of these, I must say that I love Duran Duran's new album "Red Carpet Massacre" the most. I never thought I would say that I loved a Duran Duran album, but I do. Now this album just came out today, but thanks to SIRIUS Satellite Radio Via Dish Network (which carries SIRIUS Satellite Radio) I got to listen this past weekend to a full preview of the album with Simon LaBon and Nick Roads (of Duran Duran) talking about each track.

So all of this music gives me something new to listen to this weekend on my way and back from the RMS High School Gathering in Estes Park, CO which I am helping out at again. It will be really nice to have some new music to listen to because I will only be spending about 16 to 18 hours in my car this weekend. LOL.
