For those of you who have not heard, I am moving from the University of New Mexico to Central New Mexico CC next term (Winter term) for their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Systems Administration (ya, its a mouth full, but it should look good on a resume).
With any luck and as long as I do not fall off the horse, I should be done in about 2 years. I say about 2 years as I have no clue how much, or what is going to transfer from my tenure at UNM. Depending on what transfers, what I can test out of, and what I can weasel my way out of, I might be able to get done in a 1.5 years.
I did look at UNM's Computer Science degree, but it was so not what I was looking for. From what I could tell, UNM's CS degree is much more theory based and also more of an engineering degree, which is not what I want.
In other news, I did go see a Doctor in my Doctors practice (cus my Doc did not have an opening) and was basically told I did nothing wrong to my arm / shoulder. The doctor thinks I just pinched a nerve or something stupid like that. So ya, at least I got it checked out.
November 16th, is my 6 months anniversary of being in the house. Also, about 6 months after I have moved in, I have finished unpacking. It feels weird to be unpacked, but I can not tell you why. Part of me still can not believe that I bought a house. I still sometimes just walk around this place saying over and over again, I bought a house. LOL.
So I think that is it now.
Peace,
Kevin
