Milwaukee here I come...

In the middle of August I am flying up for a week (Aug 13 to Aug 18) of training in the Milwaukee metro area (really I will be in the New Berlin, WI). I am flying in the day before the training starts since the class starts at 8am. I am thinking after I get in to Milwaukee, get my rental car, and get checked in to my hotel, that I might go downtown and fart around the water front area.

So this brings me to a question. Does anyone know of anything good to do to blow some time in the Milwaukee area? Also any good places that I should eat that I can not get anywhere else in the country?
