A little stressed out at the moment....

So I have been a little stressed out for the last 2 weeks or so.

As someone whom I was talking to on the phone said, "So, you are taking the plunge?" Now the plunge is normally only with two things, Homes and Marriage, and since we all know I can't do the second thing yet (thank you Bush) then it must be the first thing.

Yep that’s right, I am trying to buy my first house, and I must say is scares the living fuck out of me. I mean I know that I am ready, but still damn. It’s also a lot of work to get everything in order, and to think that I could be moving here really soon.

I have been in my apartment now for two and a half, almost 3 years. Now I must say it was the same being scared when I got the apartment, but that is much less of permanent thing. I mean the longest lease I have had was 9 months. Now I will be owning the place. It’s really weird I must tell you. But I feel that I must do something as the housing market here in Albuquerque is not going to get any better and interests rates are going to hit the ceiling soon!

So after work I am taking my parents to see the two places that I am interested in living in. One is a 2 bed room, 2 bath HUD home that is in really good condition considering it’s a HUD home, and the other is on the same street, but is for sale the normal way and is 3 bed rooms, 2 bath. I really can see my self living in the area (Alameda & I-25) and is much better then living out in Westgate (98th & Tower).

The thing that has been driving me crazy is the bid is due on the HUD house on Sunday. So I have been trying to get pre-qualified for a mortgage which is not as bad as I thought it would be. But, I did get pre-qualified which is cool, so now all I need to do is go get a cashier's check for the earnest money from the credit union.

So ya a lot going on right now, and maybe a lot more soon.

That’s is all for now. I will post more when I know more....
