2 Movie Reviews & Some Weather....

I finally got around to watchin the last two movies that I wanted to watch. They were (in order watched), Ladder 49 & Mona Lisa Smile. Both movies were great.

I loved ladder 49, and the ending; well let’s just say the ending is what I love in a movie. If you want to know what I look for in the ending of a movie. You can ask me, or you can watch this movie and guess what I like. I really am thinking I might have to buy this movie, cus damn.

Mona Lisa Smile: This was just over all a great movie. I guess I never expected Julia Roberts to play this type of role, but she was great. I loved the movie, and even more the message that it gives. I wish more movies could be like this one.

Ok, and on to the big thing that happened Saturday. Funnel Cloud. Well, maybe a twister. No one is quite sure yet, but I'm sure someone will figure it out soon.

Here is what Jeff Proctor, a staff writer with the Albuquerque Journal said:

"The old saying about spring weather in Albuquerque couldn't have been more true Saturday. If you don't like the weather, just wait a while and it will change. At 9 a.m., it was warm and sunny. By half past noon, it was 73 degrees. And at 3:06 p.m., a funnel cloud swept past the Albuquerque International Sunport.
...
'Officially, it's not a tornado yet,' Jones said. 'But in all likelihood it did briefly touch down.' A funnel cloud isn't a tornado unless it touches down. Since 1986, there have been four confirmed tornadoes in Bernalillo County, he said."

I'm starting to love April. So far, we have seen rain, sleet, hail, snow, and now funnel clouds & tornados. I'm sure I'm going to take shit from my Wichita family. But, there is nothing worse then getting a phone call from our mom says she can see the funnel cloud. Then the news says that it's either heading for the big-I (freeway interchange) area (where my office is) or the Northeast heights (where my apartment is). So, I basically started to freak a little, but hey who would not. After the news said they canceled the tornado warning, I stepped out of my apartment took some photos with my digital cam, but they need some work before I can upload them. Since it is 1:23am, I really don’t feel like making them so you can really see the rain right now.

Also, I forget how much I'm like my parents. Tonight I say this, cus I had 2 beers over 4 hours (when I was watching the movies). Anyway, it's no secret that my mom turns into a space heater, and well, I take after her in that respect. I'm sure that if there was someone here with me right now, they would tell me I'm producing heat, cus I sure feel like it.

Well, since it is closing in fast on 1:30, I really think me, and my hot ass, should hit the sack and get some shuteye. I was going to talk about commercials in this post too, but since I just put a note for my self, I will do that at a later time.

Peace,
Kevin

So, it has been done, just not by me. Any one who has heard of the "Chanukah Song" by Adam Sandler knows who all of the famous Jewish people are right? Written and performed by Michael Bridges and George Baum (LOST AND FOUND).
