Not what I want to read right before I board a flight...

So sometimes my obssesion with news is a really bad thing. I am using wireless at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport before my flight cus I have some free time. So I checked CNN's website to see this headline in big bold letters: "Nigerian airliner crashes and burns on takeoff".

Um ya, not what I really want to read right before I am about to board a flight to DFW airport. LOL. Now granted I know that air travel is the safest form of travel there is. Hell I have a better chance of dieing in a car crash on my way to the airport then I do on a flight, but still.

So of course I have to read the freaking story, cus you know I just love news. So I start to read this story and then I say to my self "Damn, someone remind me never to fly to Nigeria".

I say this cus as I am reading the story, I read this nice little tidbit of info "Nigeria has a poor air safety record, with at least 11 crashes since 1995 that have killed more than 500 people.". Um, ya, I would say that they have a poor air safety record. Very Poor.

So then I read even more, cus I should have stopped reading after I saw the headline, but then I read "Sunday's crash is the third fatal crash for Nigeria in the past 12 months". So like I said, Someone please remind me never to fly to Nigeria".

Lucky for me, I am not flying anywhere close to Nigeria today, so really I am not worried at all. Plus, today the weather is great, which is a little better then Friday, so even better!

So ya thats about it for now. I have a 4:50pm EST flight from CLE to DFW, then I have a 9:10pm CST flight from DFW to ABQ, and it should get me into ABQ around 10:00pm MST. Then I must remember to change all the clocks at home since I have been away during the time change. LOL.
