Steve Irwin

So I have not really posted anything about the death of Steve Irwin (aka The Crocodile Hunter). But tonight I was watching MythBusters which I had recorded from earlier in the evening, when I saw an tribute commercial done by the Discovery Channel. It was really well done and touching, but IDK, I feel part of it was lost having the commercial right between a commercial for liquor & a pay-per-view commercial.

Never-less, it was very tasteful and almost brought be to tears as I sat and watched it. You can watch it here: http://pics.livejournal.com/claystorm/pic/0006t6kk

When I heard that Steve Irwin had died, it was almost like a dream. I mean, here is a man that puts him self into danger a lot, and for the most part walks away, and how he is dead. Not from old age, sickness or anything of the like, but from doing what he loved. Part of me wants to say its a danger that goes with the job, but the other part of me says that if you know what you are doing, there is no real danger.

Well the truth of the matter is that what killed Steve was really rare. I think it has happened to like 22 people total. Never-less, what that man has done for the animal world is amazing. As such his spirit will live on in the whole world.
