When you are young, each birthday bring excitement. You are growing up and each day brings something new. There are also milestones that go with some of these ages. For me, I could drive at 15. At 18 I truly became an adult and I could buy porn and play the lottery. With 21 came drinking and being able to pull the slots.
The next "big age" that I have is 25, and that is when I can rent a car with out having to pay the stupid extra fee for being under 25. Then after that, it is another 5 year and I am at 30. Nothing really special with 30, just means I am getting old. LOL. From there, its 10 years until 40 (see I can do math), and really I will never hit 40. I will just be 39 and holding. LOL.
Now I am not trying to say that life just gets old and dull after 21, cus really it does not. Granted, there is not that level of excitement that comes with each day as a child, but each day does bring something new. Yes, my schedule is much more fixed then it was as a child, but there are still new things to see and do. There are many places to go and many things to see (and why does that sound like I just ripped off Dr. Seuss, LOL).
So yes, another year may have passed, but I really am looking forward to what this next year will bring me.
