Damn I think it be time to go home.

It’s now past 7pm and I am still in the office, why? I do not know. Just been very busy with stuff that got back-piled during the semester that is now all coming down like a rain of fire. OK, maybe not that bad, but still I have been very busy. Not to mention that I go on vacation in the middle of next week, so I am trying to get ahead.

So one of the projects I am working on right now its the VP/Prez (Bill) computer. It’s almost brand-spanking new, we bought it for him a back in December of 05, so ya, like 6 months old and the thing is acting like, a 10 year old computer. Bill was up in our GM's (Dennis) office today using his computer (cus I have been working on the Bill's), and made a comment to Dennis something to the effect of "Man this computer is fast".

The thing is, Bill's is a dual processor computer at 2.8 ghz per proc. Dennis computer is a 4 year old Dell single processor at 2.8 ghz, so ya. Bill's should be able to kick the crap out of anything we got here. The only thing that beats Bill's computer is our SQL server, which has a quad processor each at 2.8 ghz. So ya, not sure what in the hell is going on there, but I am calling Dell in the morning, to say "FIX IT".

I thought it was his memory chip, cus I reseated everything yesterday and that is about the only thing major in that computer to reset and it worked great until today. So I ran Microsoft’s memory test, and the diag that comes on the Dell and each passed with flying colors. So I am not sure what is going on. I, along with Dennis, and Bill, think the computer might be a dud. I am hoping that I can just pull the HD, send it to Dell, and they will send me a new box back. But only time will tell.

Anyway, it’s only getting later as I write this, so ya, I am going home. Plus I have to be back down here at the office around 6am'ish cus we are doing our monthly company breakfast. My icon is close to how I feel right now...
