Video for the news story...

So last Friday night / Saturday morning I posted about a news story that I saw and the colorful comment that the weather guy made right after the story. Well, never being one to an easy quitter, I fianly figured out a way to get the video off my DVR, and into a format that I can use, and put on the web to share with you all. Really there are some days that I impress my self, and today would be one of them. I will not bore you all with all the tech stuff about how I did it (if you want to know, ask, and I will tell you), but I did it.

Also, since I have figured out how to get crap off the DVR and onto the internet, there is a commercial for something called "Star Trek 2.0" that really made me laugh and want to hide all the same time. So the link for that commercial is here.

Well that is all for now. I should have a really large update soon about this weekend, which for right now I am going to keep under wraps. Well, I guess I will leak a little about it. Synod Assembly for my synod, the Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is in Albuquerque this year. It comes here like once every 12 years, give or take a year or two. So this is something special and fun too. Anyway, that is all I am going to say for now, and I guess you all will just have to wait to see what I post about it....
