What do you do when no one has the data presented the way you want? Well, if your a nerd like me, you make your own chart in Excel! . I was curious in the number of cases every day for my county, Bernalillo County. I’d kinda been keeping a mental count in my head, but wanted something more concrete to look at. I also took the opportunity to add things like a 5 day moving average (Excel can do this automatically) and the temperature. I also have some specific things noted, like Easter and then the days there’s been “data lapses” due to a private lab not reporting. If we do end up partially opening the state this weekend, I will mark that as well. . What can I say, I’m a data nerd. Lol. It was a bit laborious having to go back and enter the data from the daily reports. Now I just update it every day. I’ve thought about going back and adding deaths as well, but you can find that online at the Journal.
